Paul is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and spent 12 years as a non commissioned and commissioned officer in the Parachute Regiment (UK), serving in operational theatres around the world. Since leaving the British Army in 1994, he has worked in the oil and gas and precious metals mining industries providing risk, loss prevention and security consultancy internationally, often in remote and hostile locations. WGRisk is based in Vancouver, Canada from where services are provided to a range of domestic and international clients from green field exploration projects to assisting in the feasibility and design stage of new operations and mine expansion programmes.

He has subsequently worked in-house for international aircraft leasing companies as general counsel and chief operating officer. He also provides support to a major European airline and various investment funds on their aviation transactions. Dan provides advice to HeliOperations on insurance, commercial and contractual matters.

Paul studied Engineering at Trinity College Dublin and worked in South Africa for 25 years in the heavy-engineering industry. He served as a director of a number of South African, Singaporean, Canadian and European companies including Gray Security Services.
In 1999, he founded Bell MIT a joint venture with Bell Technologies which focused on the delivery of remote, live site security services worldwide.
He is currently the chairman of Henderson Risk a global provider of risk management and security services mainly to the mining sector.
In 1979, Dale started A. Dale Wunderlich and Associates, an international security consulting firm located in Denver, specializing in mining security, premises liability, and corporate investigations. He was recognized as a leader in the security industry conducting investigations in more than 90 countries. Over the years he was honored with many awards in the field of security consulting and investigations. The company continues as Wunderlich-Gladston.
Dale was born and raised in Washington state where he graduated from Washington State University. In 2012, he graduated with a Master of Applied Science from the University of Denver. After spending several years with the Los Angeles Police Department, he joined the United States Secret Service in 1963. His assignments included the White House, the Intelligence Division, and the Technical Security Division. In his capacity as Special Agent he protected Presidents, Vice Presidents, and many dignitaries, including John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Gerald Ford, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, Hubert Humphrey, and Henry Kissinger.
He was a member of ASIS, (American Society for Industrial Security), a life member of the National Council of Investigation and Security Services (NCISS), a life and board member of World Association of Detectives (WAD) a member of the Association of Former Agents of the U.S. Secret Service (AFAUSSS) and a life member and past President of Professional Private Investigators of Colorado (PPIAC).
A. Dale Wunderlich and Associates has been preceded by the creation of WGRisk since 2004 with Paul assuming the role of lead consultant for WGRisk where he continues to provide a broad spectrum of security related services to precious metals mine operations and mining clients internationally, from exploration projects, feasibility studies, mine site design, commissioning through to production and subsequent mine site expansions.
